margaret thatcher Water Sculpture

A commissioned water sculpture of Margaret Thatcher drinking pollutted water, for the Sewage Works art installation 2025. Digitally sculpted, 3D printed in sections and followed by a thin waterproof plaster to give it a plaster cast effect. A concealed pump system circulates water through the piece: the feed tube runs internally through the arm and exits discreetly beneath the middle finger, filling the glass from above. The thumb was engineered to be removable, allowing the glass to be taken out and cleaned as needed.
