4YFN Awards 2025 - 2026

The 4YFN Awards celebrate the world's most promising digital startups, recognising innovation on a global stage. I was commissioned to design and produce the Winner and Runner-Up trophies for the Barcelona competition, creating objects that reflected the prestige of the award while maintaining a refined, contemporary aesthetic.

Although minimalist in form, the success of the project depended entirely on precision and finish. Every surface had to be flawless; even the smallest imperfection would catch the light and distract from the simplicity of the design.

Each award was resin 3D printed before being sanded and polished. Multiple layers of paint, infused with iridescent pigments, were then carefully applied to create a metallic, colour-shifting surface that transforms as it moves through the light. The result is an object that appears both sculptural and dynamic.
